Ajwan Ghatiya (Dharwad Ghatiya)

I discovered Ajwan Ghatiya, also known as Dharwad Ghatiya and it quickly became a favorite of mine. This savory snack feels crisp and light and its distinct ajwain flavor is unmistakable. Ajwan Ghatiya is made from gram flour and aromatic carom seeds. The seasoning is kept simple so that the nutty taste of the flour and the warm earthy notes of ajwain can shine through.

Ajwan Ghatiya is crisp without being overly heavy. I enjoy it with a cup of tea or coffee but it also tastes great on its own. The familiar flavor and delicate crunch make Ajwan Ghatiya a regular choice for my snacking and, for festive celebrations.
